HAF is back!

HAF is returning this winter holiday to provide fun, food and a festive time for all!

From 12pm on 18 November (next week), families will be able to view activities that will be on offer this winter in their district to start planning their winter holiday.

Activities will be marked HAF, HAP, or both.

From 12pm on 2 December, families will be able to book activities using our Children Activities Booking System (CABS). Activities will be available throughout the winter holiday period. Make sure your account is ready and up to date now!

Accessibility and Inclusion

All our HAF activity providers have been working hard to make activities accessible. This year, each provider has their own ‘All About Us’ which you can find on your district HAF websites. This includes more information about the provider, venue, activity and staffing, should you require any further information prior to booking. In addition to this, there is also an opportunity for your child to share ‘All About Me’; an online form where you will be able to put in more information about your child and any additional needs that may need to be met on the day, so that the provider can ensure your child’s needs are met. If you ever feel you require further information before booking an activity, we encourage you to get in touch with the activity provider who will be happy to help. All contact details should be available on the activity booking page.

We also have our specialist HAF Community Connectors, the Parent Carer Alliance, who specialise in helping families with more complex needs and are here to support you in finding suitable activities for your child. For more information you can read how they can help here.
