If your child has not been given Dene Magna as their first choice and it was your preference, you may go back to Gloucestershire County Council to ask to be placed on the Dene Magna waiting list. There will be a second allocation and if after this point your child still does not get a place with us then you may go to appeal.

To appeal, please contact us at the school to ask for the relevant appeals paperwork. We will send this to you to complete and return to us. 

We will forward the paperwork to Gloucestershire County Council, who will organise an independent appeals panel and contact you with the time and date of this.

When completing your paperwork you are entitled to add any evidence that you feel may benefit the appeal, such as letters from previous Headteacher/teachers, medical evidence from a Doctor, etc.
