Welcome to Science at Dene Magna. We deliver the full suite of Science subjects across KS3, 4 and 5 and are incredibly proud of the success of each and every student.
Each subject within Science has a lead teacher, they are members of the Royal Society of Chemistry, The Royal Society of Biology and the Institute of Physics. These specialist teachers help develop our curriculum and teaching to ensure high quality delivery. This allows both teachers and students to reach their maximum potential, and enjoy the process.
We offer a tailored, aspirational curriculum that is engaging and develops the skills and knowledge necessary for all to succeed. There is a clear line through KS3 and KS4 ensuring that all students are in a position to gain the right qualification for them. Some follow the Triple Science GCSE course in year 10, whilst others do Combined Science. Many students go on to study A level sciences with us and all will have fostered the skills and curiosity to access the science in the world around us.
