Enrichment and Trips
The Enrichment Programme is an integral part of your sixth-form studies, and it takes place once a week every Wednesday afternoon. We run enrichment for several reasons, and it’s not just about giving you something to put onto your CV. Being busy, taking an interest in the world around you, challenging yourself to experience new situations and working with different people will help you move towards adulthood and independence. Doing well in academic subjects is important, but it’s not the only thing you can learn from. It’s certainly the case that Universities and employers look for well-rounded individuals who must explore their potential. Your engagement with enrichment tells them a lot about your personal attributes and how organized you are. Gaining experience in different areas is essential to develop various skills and attributes. Universities and employers are also interested in whether a student has the ability to cope with other activities alongside their academic work.
We also think it's important for you to take time away from academic work and have fun together in a different setting, where you can find others who share similar interests and hobbies with you.
